Roll On Up For Some Segway Tour Fun - WhatToDo Geelong

Geelong is the first city in the state to run Segway tours on public land, since segways are technically defined as a motor vehicle and therefore banned on footpaths, but VicRoads has approved the 2 year trail on the Geelong Waterfront.

A professional guide will teach you how to ride a Segway and ease you in to your guided tour of the Waterfront, from Rippleside, along the Waterfront, through Eastern Gardens all the way to Limburners Point.

The team at What To Do Geelong were lucky enough to join a Segway tour – we felt we couldn’t recommend a tour to you with out experiencing it (or we might have just been excited to have a go).

We were all nervously excited to get going and after a quick demonstration and lesson, the nervousness had dissipated and we were fighting about who would get to go first. After five minutes practicing, and some of the team pronouncing themselves a “pro” already we were off.

And what a wonderful way to see our stunning Waterfront?!?!?! To glide along seeing the sights and scenery!
