Great steak is a big deal in our cow loving land, and we all have our favourite restaurants around Geelong, lately a couple of restaurants have made us reconsider our allegiances.
These are our top 5 steak searving resturants –
Hogs Breath – Hog’s Breath Cafe is unlike any other restaurant in Geelong. It provides quality food in a casual environment with an exceedingly friendly atmosphere. The menu has a wide variety but is centered around Prime Rib steak that is unbelievably tender and just melts in your mouth.
Custom house – If you are looking for a ‘classier’ option for your steak, you need to head to Customs house. They describe their food as “Grassroots. Simplicity and abundance with natural products and International influences”, we describe it as delicious!!!
Empire Grill – The location (between Beaurepaires and a Best Western) doesn’t scream fine dining but that is what you will find at Empire Grill. This restaurant is favourite among steak lovers with delicious well presented meals. It is a bit more on the expensive side but well worth it.
The Wharf Shed – For quality food with a stunning ocean backdrop and a relaxed atmosphere, you can’t go past our waterfront restaurant. If you order the steak at the Wharf Shed you better be hungry, it is delicious and it is huge!
Parkers Steak House – A wonderful steakhouse with a warm and friendly atmosphere, a bit pricey but lovely to visit when you want to spoil yourself or someone you love. If you love great quality steak cooked to absolute perfection then look no further than Parkers.
