Light Up Geelong -WhatToDo Geelong
Geelong’s Floating Christmas Tree will return this Friday (11th of November) when the City of Greater Geelong hosts ‘Light Up Geelong’.
Light Up Geelong will have an impressive line-up of entertainment from 7:30pm, followed by lighting up the christmas tree and fireworks, and projections on City Hall.
Kids entertainment will be on the water front with Face painting, balloon artists, stilt walkers and focus Santa.

– Steve Threw
Geelong’s Floating Christmas tree will include an interactive element for he first time, giving people the chance to control the tree’s lights between 3rd-25 of December. It will light up daily from 8:30pm to Midnight.

Light up Geelong Entertainment Guide
6:00 – 10:00pm – Bay FM broadcast
7:30pm – Face Painting, Santa and roving entertainment in Geelong Waterfront.
8:30pm – Christmas Carols on the main stage
9pm – Geelong’s Floating Christmas Tree lights up and a short fireworks display
9.45pm Christmas Projections on the Town Hall.
