Remembrance Day @ Geelong Peace Memorial

On the 11th hour, of the 11th Day of the 11th Month we will remember them!

On the walls of the Geelong Peace Memorial are the names of hundreds of Geelong men and women who served in the Great War. But what are the stories of the actual people whose names are listed on these honour boards? Through Younger Eyes, an Anzac Centenary project, explores the lives of those affected and forever altered by World War I, through the eyes of young people today.

Through Younger Eyes, is a unique sound and light display breathing life into the some of the names listed on the walls of the Peace Memorial and lifting them off the honour boards to reveal the people, families and stories behind them.

The Geelong Peace Memorial will be open 11 November from 12.00pm to 5.00pm.
